"Boston Scientific intends to intensify their research activities in Europe in the upcoming years and realizes that this only can be done in a wide network encompassing many collaborators in industrial and academic centre. BSC also focuses heavily on the opportunity to use the many grant schemes as available throughout Europe for especially these kind of R&D network activities.
To maximize the leverage of these schemes and avoid any potential issue with these fairly complex systems the decision was made from the start to use a professional company as intermediair. Having excellent experience with PNO-consultants in the Netherlands, we have now taken a step beyond to the European platform with PNO in 2009, and we think indeed that that decision was the right one.
