“We have developed and patented a novel process for sludge pre-digestion which kills pathogens while increasing biogas yield. PNO advised us that the EU LIFE programme was the best source of funding and then helped us put together a successful grant application. The grant will contribute £1 million to this £5 million investment project and, in return, we will disseminate the results of the project around Europe to enable other utilities to benefit from it.
