Innovative cooperation in a public-private partnership

Suppose you want to develop a more energy-efficient production process or improve employability in your sector. You will need money. Such projects may be eligible for a subsidy from the European Fund for Regional Development or the ‘High Points in the Delta’ (Pieken in de Delta) scheme.

But you will need to cooperate with a large number of other organisations, forming a public-private partnership (PPP) with small or large companies, governmental organisations, research institutes and/or educational institutions. Then you can approach the subsidy provider a consortium. But establishing such a project can be difficult because of complex legislation and regulations. This is a very intensive process, which can easily take six months to a year.

Expertise is crucial

Do you know which partners you need to achieve your goal and how to bring them together? Do you know how to make watertight agreements in a private-public partnership (PPP)? And how do you shape your project within a PPP in such a way that you actually get the subsidy? At PNO we can support you throughout the process. We’ve worked for many years with both the business community and the public sector. We understand both worlds and we know how to bring them together. We have already established many PPPs, ranging from small collaborations to large consortia with up to forty participants. Our goal is always to obtain the right subsidies for PPP projects. Expertise in subsidies and experience in establishing PPPs has been crucial to our success.
