Renewable Energy Sources (RES) are a rapidly developing branch of the energy sector. The European Union earmarked a lot of funds for Poland for investment in the construction of units to produce electricity or heat from renewable sources. Support will be provided to projects for the construction of power units or increase production of electricity using wind, water for small hydro to 10 MW, biogas and biomass projects, or for the construction or increase in units of heat capacity using geothermal and solar energy. If you plan to make such investment it is worth to apply for the EU support of.
Objective:
Increasing production of electricity and heat from renewable sources.
EU funds are available for production of energy from renewable sources e.g.:
- Construction of a wind farm.
- Construction of a hydroelectric power to 10 MW.
- Construction of biomass or biogas power station.
- Construction of geothermal heat.
- Installation of solar panels.

- Entrepreneurs
- Units of local government
The institution responsible for the assesment of applications:
Institute for Fuels and Renewable Energy
Maximum level of support:
PLN 40 million
