Co-financing a project: “Research, creation of a prototype, implementation and commencing production of software for testing gas network tightness”

Client

A producer of software for checking the parameters of industrial networks. A faculty of a leading Polish university was also involved in the project as a subcontractor for the research part.

Development plans

The company’s objective was to introduce to the market a new, competitive product – software for testing the network’s gas-tightness. Implementation of the product was preceded by a series of trials and the creation of a prototype (with the cooperation of the university).

Project

The project was divided into a research phase, a phase of prototype creation and a final product implementation phase. The project included purchasing of 4 testing devices, 2 servers and the employment of 7 skilled employees. The project’s total value was estimated at PLN 4 million, including eligible costs of PLN 3.8 million.

Benefits

Acquiring a grant of over PLN 1.55 million (41% of eligible costs), which will be used for the purchase of 6 of the latest research devices and will enable implementing innovative software for testing the leak-tightness of the networks. The project will therefore contribute to an increase in the company’s market competitiveness and improvement of the company’s financial position.
