Co-financing of a project: "Establishing research & development centre"

A leading company in the production of mobile communication and loudspeaker sets, with a 22% share of the European market.

Development plans

The company’s fundamental need was to establish new R&D centre in order to conduct research into the development of new products. In the company’s current activity, research was contracted to external entities. It decreased the price-competitiveness of the company’s products and extended the time needed for the creation of new products.

Project

The project involved equipping a new R&D centre and employing 10 engineers. The project’s total value was estimated at PLN 7.6 million, including eligible costs of PLN 5.6 million.

Benefits

Thanks to its cooperation with PNO, the company obtained a grant of PLN 2.8 million (50% of eligible costs), which will be allocated for the purchase of 18 of the latest research devices. A new R&D centre will enable it to introduce to the market competitive products and will result in increasing the company’s position on the world markets.
