EU Grants Consultant, Brussels or Vienna
A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced EU consultant to join Europe’s leading grants consultancy providing clients, ranging from blue-chip companies, to SMEs and the public sector, with comprehensive support on high value projects eligible for grant assistance.
You will be experienced in the European grant application and preferable in the project management process, with an in-depth knowledge of how to build and manage successful European projects, gained either through working for a funding body (for example the European Commission) or within an organization applying for EU funding.
You will be working as a member of an international team focusing on European funding programmes and your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the joint acquisition of clients and EU projects;
- Training and coaching colleagues in acquisition strategy, project building, proposal writing, and administrative processes related to EU funding programmes;
- Developing tools, for example fact sheets, proposal templates, and budget calculation sheets;
- Quality control and co-writing of EU project proposals;
- Assisting colleagues and clients in EU contract negotiations and project management.
Your Profile
- University degree, preferably in an engineering or scientific discipline. PhD degree in the area of energy, nanotechnology, or ICT is an asset;
- A minimum of 2 years experience with European funding programmes such as FP7, CIP, etc.;
- Experience of managing complex projects;
- Fluent in English and at least one other European language (preferably German);
- Experience of working in a commercial environment.
